Acme Markets, a Premier Super Market Company, has several openings in its 6 State footprint for World Class Asset Protection Specialists.
These openings are to fill full-time, entry level positions all of which hold great advancement opportunities.

Varied work schedules which require night and weekend shifts along with varied location assignments are available.

As a result, a valid driver’s license and reliable motor vehicle transportation is required.

Locations include stores in and around:
o Southeastern NY, Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess Counties
o Northern, Central and Southern Jersey
o Center City Philadelphia
o Southern PA
o Northern DE
o Salisbury MD

This position will include {But is not limited to} the following:
o Deter, detect and/or apprehend individuals committing crimes at store level
o Reduce store Shrink by utilizing clear and concise communication and world class customer service
o Manages shoplifters in accordance with Company policy and state/local law
o Assigned to work at various store locations
o Assists in the performance of Asset Protection related audits and inspections
o Assist with the monitoring and oversight of productive store activity to include shrink control, external loss, and customer service
o Conduct investigations at the direction of the District Asset Protection Manager
o Acts as the liaison between Acme the Courts and Law Enforcement as directed by the District Asset Protection Manager
o Responsible for performing job duties accurately, safely with honesty and integrity
o Represents the Asset Protection department in a Polished, Professional, Positive manner to employee’s, vendor partners, our customers and the public
o Communicate and Market our asset protection programs and audits to employees for absolute compliance
o Report any incident that may cause loss to the Company to include; safety hazards, food safety and food handling issues, restricted sales, sale of age restricted, unsafe or out of code product
o Ability to be friendly, courteous and tactful, maintaining ones composure in dealing with customers, vendor partners and co-workers in confrontational, high stress environments and scenarios
o Ability to stand and/or walk or sit for long periods of time
o Ability to move quickly in cases of emergency
o Must possess strong oral and written communication skills
o Ability to understand and follow instructions while navigating challenging situations effectively
o Ability to work as a team player
o Ability to understand and execute instructions and communicate with co-workers and the public
o Must possess mental alertness, basic mathematics skills
o Helpful to have basic computer knowledge to include Microsoft office, word and excel
o Must comply with all company policies, procedures ad protocols including safety, Asset Protection, attendance, grooming standards and dress codes. Varied schedule which includes nights, weekends and holidays
o Solid consistent attendance is required
